1. What are the restrictions in importing a used car from Japan?
Vehicles that are fifteen (15) years old or older as determined by the month and year in which the vehicle was manufactured are allowed to be imported without any restrictions. 2. Where can I buy spare parts for the imported car?
Most spare parts could be ordered through respective local dealership. There are several companies who regularly import Japanese spare parts including engines and body panels. In the event you have difficulty finding any component for your imported vehicle, we'll be happy to source it directly from Japan.
3. Is it safe, easy and legal to drive a right hand drive (RHD) vehicle?
It is 100% legal to drive a right hand drive vehicle. There are no special licence or training required to operate a right hand drive vehicle and they safe to drive provided you take the same precautions driving any other vehicle.
